Vocational Rehabilitation Support Services

Vocational Rehabilitation Support Services

Vocational Redirection Services.

STAR’s approach to identify new job options aims to
  • Streamline the process and reduce time and cost.
  • Keep the worker focused on their transferable skills not on long term career change.
  • Provide an objective succinct report for all parties, with an executive summary at the front of a Full Vocational Assessment Report
  • Utilisation of our internal Career Transition Services Team

The process:

  • Based on a tiered approach, (which saves time and costs) we initially focus on work options from the client’s previous experience and transferable skills only with a Vocational Skills Assessment (TSA).
  • A full Vocational Assessment, which includes formal testing and a detailed report, can be conducted if there are limited transferrable skills, or complex issues.
  • A Full Vocational Assessment report is presented with an executive Summary at the beginning of the report for easy use for key stakeholder’s reference.

  • An Assessment to identify support required
  • Up to 4 Sessions of support identified
  • Initial and Final Reports can be requested

Typical support is dependent on the client however may include Injury Adjustment, Pain Management and Stress Management Counselling.
