Kym is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with extensive experience in workplace rehabilitation, occupational health, and wellbeing programs. Since 2018, she has delivered tailored services focused on injury prevention and sustainable Return to Work outcomes across a diverse range of Commonwealth, State, and private sector organisations.

As Western Australia Operations Manager, Kym leads a high-performing rehabilitation team, overseeing service quality, compliance, and performance outcomes. She drives excellence in injury management, Return to Work results, and operational growth through effective workload and resource management.

Kym is passionate about mentoring and developing staff, fostering continuous improvement, and strengthening relationships through business development and referral network growth. Alongside her leadership role, she remains actively involved in case management, applying a practical, client-focused approach that supports positive outcomes for individuals and organisations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Physiology) and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and a member of the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association.

Daniel is a registered Occupational Therapist who brings a unique perspective to the team, having completed a university honours research project analysing the skills and strategies used by high-performing Workplace Rehabilitation Consultants. This work sparked his passion for supporting complex Return to Work Programs.

He values a holistic approach within a Return to Work Program, ensuring that an injured Workers’ meaningful roles and activities are incorporated throughout their recovery journey.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) with Honours. He is a member of the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association and a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Dylan is a registered Chiropractor with a strong focus on achieving optimal Return to Work outcomes for clients. He has experience working in the NDIS system as a Support Worker and, through his studies, developed a deep understanding of how factors beyond physical injury can affect recovery. He takes a biopsychosocial approach to supporting sustainable Return to Work outcomes.

Dylan is committed to providing a person-centred approach, ensuring clients are supported throughout their entire rehabilitation journey. He is also fluent in Afrikaans.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Chiropractic and is a Registered Chiropractor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Jack is an Occupational Therapist with experience in the NDIS system and a strong passion for Workplace Rehabilitation.

During university, Jack collaborated with his colleague Daniel Carter on an honours research project analysing the skills and strategies used by high-performing Workplace Rehabilitation Consultants. This work helped foster his interest in complex Return to Work Programs.

He takes a holistic approach with all stakeholders, supporting workers to achieve their Return to Work goals.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) with Honours and is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Kelwyn is an experienced Occupational Therapist with extensive expertise in Return to Work Programs and case management services. He specialises in ergonomics and worksite evaluations and has been working in Injury Management since 1997, with experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Kelwyn holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University of Technology and is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Edmond is a Registered Nurse with clinical experience on the mental health ward at Perth Children’s Hospital, as well as experience as a Support Worker.

Through his clinical experience, Edmond understands that injury can happen to anyone. He is passionate about supporting people following injury in a holistic way, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs. Edmond is committed to supporting recovery and Return to Work using a person-centred approach.

He is also able to speak Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Edmond holds a Bachelor of Nursing and is a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Liana is an experienced Psychologist with a background in mental health assessments, behavioural assessments, and counselling services.

She has expertise in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing alcohol and substance use challenges.

Since transitioning into Injury Management, Liana has supported individuals through the complexities of Return to Work Programs, helping them navigate psychological and emotional adjustments following injury. She is skilled in adjustment to injury counselling, working closely with clients to build resilience, restore confidence, and facilitate sustainable recovery.

With extensive experience in complex case management, Liana has effectively guided individuals through both NDIS and Injury Management systems, ensuring tailored, outcome-focused support. She is also highly adept at crisis intervention and acute risk management, providing critical support to those at risk of harm.

Liana holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) with Honours and is a Medicare-registered General Psychologist.

Linda is a Registered Psychologist who specialises in complex case management for both physical and psychological injuries across a wide range of industries.

She provides professional, outcome-focused support to individuals who have sustained a workplace injury and assists Employers in navigating the challenges of the Workers’ Compensation system. Linda has extensive experience in vocational assessments, identification of transferrable skills, and job skills development, supporting sustainable Return to Work Programs.

Linda is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Sandra is an experienced Occupational Therapist with extensive expertise in Return to Work Programs and case management for Workers’ Compensation, as well as preventative Employer initiatives.

She has worked across private practice, government, and in-house roles, including as an Injury Management Coordinator and Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, where she implemented injury prevention and fitness for work strategies. Sandra also has five years of hospital and community-based Occupational Therapy experience.

Sandra holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, and is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) and holds certifications in Manutention of Loads (Industrial Application) Levels 2 & 3 from the Australian Association of Manutention Practitioners, and Physical Work Performance Evaluation (PWPE) from Ergo Science.

Sumit holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality. He has expertise in Disability Employment Services and brings valuable insights and skills to his role as a Career Transition Specialist. Sumit is known for his adaptability, resilience, and ability to support clients in finding meaningful employment and work placements.

He is fluent in Hindi and is also able to converse in Urdu.

Jarrad is an Occupational Therapist with over nine years of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation. He works collaboratively with clients to achieve goal-oriented, positive outcomes, drawing on his extensive knowledge of client-centred rehabilitation approaches.

Jarrad holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and is Comcare accredited. He is also accredited in WorkHab Functional Capacity Evaluation.

Kim is an Accredited Occupational Therapist with a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety. With over 15 years’ experience in the Workers Compensation field, she has managed claims for large national organisations and provided extensive case management as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

Kim holds additional qualifications in Ergonomic Assessments, Functional Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

She is passionate about delivering high-quality Workplace Rehabilitation services to achieve the best possible outcomes for all parties and has supported clients across Workcover, DVA, Comcare, and life insurance schemes.

Nicole is an experienced Rehabilitation Provider.  Prior to joining STAR, she had eight years’ experience in the WorkCover, Dust Disease Care, and CTP schemes. She also has clinical experience in the UK and Australia across neuro-rehabilitation, general medical, palliative care, community care, and paediatrics.

Drawing on this extensive clinical knowledge, Nicole takes a holistic approach to Workplace Rehabilitation and enjoys working collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for her clients. She has a particular interest in Ergonomic Assessments, training, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, with the goal of facilitating a return to health and work.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Psychology. She is a member of the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and is Comcare accredited.

Akif is a Career Transition Specialist passionate about supporting people to achieve their employment and rehabilitation goals. With a diverse range of past work experiences, Akif brings a collaborative and people-focused approach to their role and is proficient in digital tools and adaptable to new technologies, enabling tailored rehabilitation and employment pathways.

Outside of work, Akif enjoys health, wellness, and creative pursuits. He is also able to communicate in Urdu.
