In order to design a Return to Work Plan, we’ll need to obtain a medical opinion on your condition.
Following workplace discussions between your workplace rehabilitation provider and employer, STAR will set up a meeting with your treating Medical Practitioner.
At the meeting we will:
- Clarify the physical demands of your pre-injury role
- Explain to your Medical Practitioner the suitable duties available
- Explore the nature of your condition and seek advice regarding recovery time frames and likely outcome
- Explore the potential for upgrading duties (and timelines)
- Review treatment options
Armed with a medical opinion, we’ll all be better placed to determine when and how you’re fit to return to your pre-injury role, or whether redeployment to a new role (or employer) would be a better outcome.
